Danielle is the Indonesia and Energy Manager for the US-ASEAN Business Council. Prior to joining the Council in June 2011, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Chicago, with a focus on insurgent groups in Central and South Asia. Danielle has also held two full-time internships with the Department of State, working at the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta and the Economic Policy Office in the East Asia and Pacific Affairs Bureau.
Danielle has a B.A. in Southeast Asian Studies and Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and has an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago. Her M.A. thesis focuses on obstacles to the resolution of the Southeast Asian transboundary haze issue. She is proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
