Andrew Koch joined the Council in June 2023 and serves as Special Assistant to the President & CEO.
Andrew is an international entrepreneur and LGBTI+ campaigner with experience building communities across Asia Pacific. He is fluent in Chinese and has worked across China, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Qingdao, and Chengdu. While in Hong Kong, he built Hong Kong’s largest network of video gaming artists, investors, developers, and regulators - Game On Hong Kong - and directed Asia’s largest LGBT+ festival – Pink Season. Andrew is also the founder of Maloya Games, a mobile game development company with an international team based across Southeast Asia. Andrew holds a B.A. in Chinese language and business administration from the University of Mississippi and an M.A. from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Andrew currently lives in Washington, DC, and enjoys studying languages, long-distance running, and exploring new coffee shop.
