Bui Kim Thuy
Country Representative - Vietnam
Bui Kim Thuy joined the Council in March 2018 as the Country Representative for Vietnam in the Hanoi office. Thuy served as the Deputy Director of the Agency for Foreign Trade in Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) for the previous 10 years, where she handled FTA negotiations and rule-of-origin related issues. She has distinguished herself as a key speaker in a series of seminars and workshops for trade-related agencies and the business community. Before joining MOIT, she was a desk officer at the Office of the Vietnam National Assembly’s Department of External Affairs.
Thuy has two Master’s of Public Management degrees, from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (National University of Singapore) and the Kennedy School (Harvard University), and holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
