Christine Wan joined the Council in 2022 as a Manager for the Financial Services, Sustainability and Energy portfolios. Based in Singapore, Christine previously worked as an innovation and growth advocate at one of Singapore’s economic agencies, Enterprise Singapore, where she spearheaded digitalization, innovation and internationalization initiatives to support local companies. She was also given a short-term appointment in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where she supported Singapore companies in-market and coordinated events alongside the Singapore Tourism Board.
Christine has in-depth knowledge of the ASEAN region and experience in both policy and political risk analysis, having previously worked at private advisory firms like Global Counsel and Vriens & Partners, as well as other government organizations like Singapore’s Ministry of Defense.
Christine graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science from the National University of Singapore. While completing her undergraduate degree, she studied at Yale University under the prestigious Yale Visiting International Students Program. She previously interned with the Council’s Singapore office in 2018 and assisted with the ICT and Singapore committees.
