Email Drew Hasson joined the Council in August of 2022 as Director of the Membership and Sustainability teams. Prior to joining the Council, he worked in Meta’s Connectivity organization where he was responsible for originating and executing technology programs that brought peripheral peoples online throughout South and Southeast Asia. Additionally, he has worked for The Asia Foundation, similarly contributing by designing social impact projects throughout developing economies across the continent.
Drew studied International Relations and Asian Studies as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master’s in International Policy from Stanford University. He spent two years with the Fulbright Program in Malaysia and has studied Japanese as well as Malay.
