Taufikurrahman (Taufik) joined the Council in April 2022 as Chief Representative in the operation’s Jakarta office. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate leadership, stakeholder management, government relations and business diplomacy from his previous assignments and career journey as Country Director, President Director, Managing Director, Executive Director and various management roles in multinational companies, national and international institutions including Emerson Electric, Rittal, Shell, Indonesia Railways, Pertamina, Premier Oil, Indonesia Services Dialogue Council, The World Bank, and the Ministry of Finance, Central Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
He actively speaks and writes about Digital Transformation, Digital Economy, Technology Leadership, Strategic Management, Industry 4.0, Smart City, Smart Transportation, Innovation Culture, Infrastructure Development, ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance), Sustainability, Renewable Energy, and Energy Transition. He is also a volunteer leadership coach for Indonesian young leaders from various start up companies, and became a guest lecturer at some universities in Indonesia including University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), PKN STAN, and Binus University.
Taufik is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant, a member of the Indonesian Institute of Accountant (IAI) and is involved in the Ethics Committee of the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountant (IAPI). He is an alumnus of the University of Indonesia, Faculty of Economics, with a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with cum laude distinction. In addition, he has also completed the Oxford Fintech Programme, an Executive Education Program of Said Business School, Oxford University. In his spare time, Taufik enjoys reading books, bicycle riding, teaching and travelling.
