USABC and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for a reception and discussion on August 1. Prime Minister Lee was visiting Washington, DC to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the United States.
2016 Singapore Business Mission

The Council’s 2016 Singapore Business Mission delegation met with Minister for Trade and Industry Mr. S. Iswaran, who also serves as Deputy Chairman for the Committee on the Future Economy (CFE). During the meeting, the delegation discussed CFE's work and priorities, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and ways that U.S. businesses can become more engaged in industry and education initiatives intended to spur increased innovation in Singapore’s economy.
