Manager - Thailand, Laos, ICT
Natalie Tantisirirat joined the Council in February 2020 as a Manager on the Thailand, Laos and Information and Communications Technology portfolios. Previously, Natalie was a research intern for the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, as part of the Thai-American National Internship Program. In this role, she focused her research on Southeast Asia trade policy, politics and cybersecurity trends in the region.
Natalie obtained her B.A. from the University of California-Los Angeles before attending the University of Michigan for her Master’s of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies. During her time at Michigan, she was awarded the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship for Thai, and received the Thai Studies Grant to conduct research and internship work in Thailand.
Natalie brings to her role a breadth of experience working with the U.S. government, having interned for Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and worked as a legislative assistant in municipal politics.
