Ben currently serves as an Associate based in the Jakarta office, covering the Indonesian portfolio across various industries. In this capacity, he supports the Council’s public policy initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts to navigate Indonesia’s business and regulatory environment. He also manages the Council's Travel & Tourism Committee, where he coordinated an annual business mission to the Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers (M-ATM). 

Before joining the Council, Ben worked as a research intern at Deloitte, contributing to the drafting of the annual Indonesia-tailored investment guide and a series of thought leadership reports. He also gained internship experiences at a political risk advisory firm and the Executive Office of the President of Indonesia. During his tenure with the latter, he served as a public policy analyst for an ad-hoc team dedicated to expediting policy harmonization efforts on open-data governance.

A native of Indonesia, Ben graduated cum laude from Universitas Indonesia with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. He received the best undergraduate thesis award for his literature analysis on Indonesia's foreign policy. Throughout his undergraduate years, he also served as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of International Relations.
