In 2008, Mr. Lim established GE Cambodia and served as President & CEO for over 13 years, leading major investments in energy, healthcare, and infrastructure while facilitating more than $18 million in philanthropic contributions through the GE Foundation to expand healthcare access and training in Cambodia. He also served as CEO of both a local and an international hospital, where he strengthened clinical excellence and introduced international standards of care.

Mr. Lim has been actively involved in board and advisory positions that promote sustainable development and education. He has served on the Boards of the American University of Phnom Penh, the Angkor Hospital for Children, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, as well as Vice Chair of the Council’s Cambodia Committee. His work has consistently emphasized building trust, fostering investment, and aligning global corporate engagement with Cambodia’s national priorities.

In his role with the Council, Mr. Lim continues to support initiatives that strengthen industries, empower communities, and advance Cambodia’s aspirations for sustainable and inclusive development.
