J.B. Simko
Vice President, U.S. International Affairs & Chief U.S. Underage Prevention Officer
J.B. is Vice President, U.S. International Affairs & Underage Prevention Officer for Philip Morris International U.S. He leads U.S. based international affairs on policy and trade issues supporting PMI's business in more than 180 countries, as well coordinating the Under-21 Access Prevention Program for its U.S. affiliates.
With over 20 years of experience in legal and external affairs at PMI, J.B. has held several significant roles, including Chief Civil Society Officer, Vice President of Regulatory & Public Policy, and Vice President & Associate General Counsel Litigation. His efforts have notably contributed to advancing harm reduction policies that support PMI's smoke-free products and science-based regulation to improve public health.
J.B. joined PMI in Switzerland in 2001. Before PMI, he worked as a litigation attorney at Shook, Hardy & Bacon. J.B. holds a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BS from the University of Iowa.
