
Prior to this role, Preet was the senior vice president of operations, North and South Pacific (excluding mainland China and Mongolia), a position she assumed in June 2017. Her career with FedEx began in 1997 as an associate engineer in Singapore. Since then, she spent over 15 years in Hong Kong, holding various management roles in planning and engineering as well as operations with Asia Pacific responsibilities. In 2006, she was promoted to managing director, planning, and engineering. In 2014, she advanced as vice president for planning and engineering. Following that in 2016, Preet served as vice president, planning and engineering air network.
Preet is passionate about advancing gender equality and empowering women in the workplace. In 2021, she signed the CEO statement of support on behalf of FedEx APAC team for the United Nation Women’s Empowerment Principles (UNWEPs) – Equality Means Business.
Preet serves as a Non-Executive Director at Intertek Group PLC, a FTSE 100 company. She also sits on the board of Junior Achievement (JA) Asia Pacific and previously sat on the board of the US-ASEAN Business Council.
Originally from India, Preet holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in India and received her MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Australia.
