Dear Members, The Council is pleased to invite you to an exclusive in-person discussion with ETDA on Thailand’s Emergency Decree on Cybercrime and the Royal Decree on Digital Platform Services on 26th May 2025, from 1.30 PM – 3.00 PM (BKK) at the Electronic Transactions Development Agency Office, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The session offers members a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from the Electronic Transactions Development Agency’s Executive Director, Dr. Chaichana Mitrpant, and engage in discussions with two separate teams from ETDA on the two decrees, regarding compliance to fraud and technological-crime prevention measures and additional business operation duties for digital platform operators. Please note that the discussion will be in person only. Attendance is limited to one representative per company. Priority is given to member companies that attended the in-person consultation on Thailand’s Draft Platform Economy Act, that submitted recommendations to the Draft PEA, that are impacted/concerned by the amendments to the Emergency Decree on Cybercrime and the Royal Decree on Digital Platform Services, as well as to participants of the Thailand Business Mission. To confirm your attendance, please RSVP directly to Saravadee Homsub at saravadee@usasean.org, or Melinda Khin at mkhin@usasean.org by Wednesday COB, 21st May 2025.
