
As a member of the company’s Global Leadership Team, Greenwood is responsible for advancing Manulife’s interests in national and international arenas with governments, regulators, and thought leaders.
Prior to joining the company, Greenwood spent two decades in private sector consulting, including leading the U.S. federal government relations practice at Dentons US LLC, the largest law firm in the world at the time. A former Presidentially appointed U.S. diplomat, Greenwood served as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Ambassador in Ottawa, Canada. Greenwood also served as Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian American Business Council for 23 years. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Art & Preservation in Embassies and the US-ASEAN Business Council, andhas previously served on public and privately held corporate boards.
Greenwood is an honors graduate of the University of Vermont, and has participated in executive leadership programs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and the Rock Corporate Directors School at Stanford.
