Maya Snyder
Associate Country Research Analyst
Maya Snyder serves as an Associate Country Research Analyst for the Philippines, Indonesia, and Health & Life Sciences portfolios, based at the Council’s Washington, D.C. office. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she majored in Science, Technology, and International Affairs.
Prior to joining the Council in September 2026, Maya worked as a Fellow at McLarty Associates with their Trade practice. She has also worked as a Research Assistant with the Center for Security and Emerging Technology and has completed internships at the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of State, and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. Additionally, in 2024, Maya spent a year living and working in Taiwan as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
