The US-ASEAN Business Council is pleased to share an internally produced report, Regenerative Agriculture in Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam: Opportunities for U.S. Agribusinesses, authored by our Myanmar Agricultural Fellow, Shwe Ye Han, whose term concluded in September 2026. The report examines selected farming systems in the three ASEAN countries, including rice, pulses and oilseeds, potatoes, and coffee, and the climate and natural resource pressures they face. It reviews evidence on regenerative practices such as improved water management, balanced nutrition, residue management, and crop diversification, alongside relevant ASEAN and national policies. It also identifies potential opportunities for U.S. companies in agricultural inputs, machinery, digital services, and sourcing partnerships. Finally, the paper compares findings across the three countries and offers recommendations for U.S. industry engagement. Please find the report attached.

Please reach out to Jack Myint (jmyint@usasean.org) should you have any questions or interests in exploring opportunities for collaboration.
