Macel Jimenez-Rada is the Country Representative for the Philippines at the USABC and a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Law. Her expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and public policy, shaped by leadership experience at the Philippines’ sovereign wealth fund and in a leading infrastructure conglomerate, as well as by her service as Director for Legislation in the Philippine Senate. She holds degrees in law and economics from the University of the Philippines and is an active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Julius Asilum serves as an Associate at the Council’s Manila office, where he contributes to advancing the country portfolio. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Development and the Law from Ateneo de Manila University. Julius first became involved with the Council as an Intern from January to July 2025, later continuing as a Fellow until August 2025 before stepping into his current role.
