US-ASEAN Business Council Hosts 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration in Singapore

On August 19, the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) hosted its 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration in Singapore, the first major gala held in the region since 2017. The event, with over 250 attendees, featured remarks from Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Heng Swee Keat, U.S. Ambassador to ASEAN Yohannes Abraham, Ambassador-at-large Chan Heng Chee, and a fireside chat with former Minister of Finance of Indonesia Dr. Chatib Basri.

Sustainable Pesticide Workshop

On July 24, USABC convened a workshop on sustainable pesticide registration, featuring esteemed speakers including Prof. Supawan Tantayanon from Chulalongkorn University, Tudsanee Srisopha and Utchalee Namvong from the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Nongnuch Yokyongsakul from the Thai Agricultural Innovation Trade Association (TAITA), and Prelia Moenandar, USABC Vice Chair of the Food and Agriculture Committee at Corteva Agriscience.

Indonesia Local Content Requirement Workshop for ICT and Healthcare Sectors

On July 18, 2024, US-ABC hosted a workshop with assessors as part of the second phase of its initiative on local content requirement (LCR) policy reform.
