ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) 2024

The US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) is registering business executives for the 2024 Engagement at the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) International Conference. The ACMF International Conference will be held on 22 October in Vientiane, Lao PDR. USABC has two speaking spots available for companies at the Conference, focusing on developments in sustainability reporting in the context of ISSB Standards. The ACMF-ISSB Technical Training Session on 23 October in Vientiane, Lao PDR (TBD) : USABC has also been invited to participate in the technical training session with ACMF and ISSB on 23 October. Additional bilateral sideline meetings: USABC to organize up to 2 meetings on the sidelines of ACMF, based on priorities of the delegation and availability of the organizations requested.

The US-ASEAN Business Council hosts Malaysia’s Minister of Finance II, and Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, during Official Washington Visits

Washington, D.C.) – On April 18, 2024, the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) together with its members including ConocoPhillips, Amazon, Organon, Chubb and other US companies welcomed Malaysia Finance Minister II, H.E. Senator Amir Hamzah Azizan, and Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, at a luncheon during their first official visits to Washington, D.C. The event served as an opportunity for the Malaysian officials to brief American business executives on Malaysia’s economic outlook and the government’s economic policy priorities. ​ ​
