Christopher Zoromski
Special Assistant to the Interim President & CEO
Chris Zoromski serves as the Special Assistant to the Interim President & CEO at the US-ASEAN Business Council, where he also supports the Council’s International Trade and Supply Chain portfolios. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Political Science from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Affairs at the Elliott School, with a regional focus on Asia
Chris currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Interim President & CEO at the US-ASEAN Business Council, where he also supports the Council’s International Trade and Supply Chain portfolios. Chris Zoromski has a strong background in international security and intra-Asian relations, having previously worked at leading think tanks including the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) and the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI).
His academic and professional work is shaped by a regional focus on Asia, with particular interest in strategic relationships and security dynamics across the Indo-Pacific. He previously interned at the Council, where he contributed to programs covering Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, and Indonesia, as well as the Public Affairs and Aerospace, Defense & Security portfolios.
Chris graduated with highest honors from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Political Science. He is now pursuing a Master’s degree in International Affairs at the Elliott School, with a concentration on East Asia.
Spending his formative years in Hawaii, Chris spent the later parts of his upbringing in Virginia and Germany, experiences that shaped his global outlook. He is proficient in German and is currently learning Bahasa Indonesia. His core interests lie at the intersection of East Asia’s economic development, trade, and regional security.
